We see her just this once, emerging from the background to speak an urgent word to her husband on behalf of Jesus.<br \/>\n<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Text<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/bible.oremus.org\/?ql=170265720\" target=\"_blank\">Matthew 27:11-19<\/a><\/p>\n<p><em>The Dream<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Send to those<br \/>\non the judgment seats.<br \/>\nTell them all<br \/>\nof visions,<br \/>\nof dreams.<\/p>\n<p>Stand at their windows<br \/>\nwith songs of hope.<br \/>\nBeat down their doors<br \/>\nwith prayers for wisdom.<br \/>\nCover their desks<br \/>\nwith charms for justice.<br \/>\nSurround their meeting-rooms<br \/>\nwith oracles of freedom.<\/p>\n<p>Hurl prophecies of peace<br \/>\nat their tallest buildings.<br \/>\nWeave banners of healing<br \/>\nalong their freeways.<br \/>\nWrite this message<br \/>\nin the smog-filled skies:<\/p>\n<p>tell them<br \/>\n<em>we have suffered much<br \/>\nfor the dreams we bear<br \/>\nand washing your hands<br \/>\nis not enough.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>From <strong>Sacred Journeys<\/strong> \u00a9 Jan L.
